With about 15 minutes left in Level 9, this is the last half hour (including the break after this level) that players have to register or reenter into this record-breaking tournament. With over 700 entries, the amount of entries has amazed everyone, from the staff to the players and fans.

Yeo May Sum came third in the Manila Megastack in May earlier this year which held the previous record of highest number of entries. She's doing well up til now and has more than double the starting stack.

Tzai Wei Phua won the Megastack and a PSPC Platinum Pass last night beating Yisha Chen heads-up. Both of them are in the field again today. Phua has just above starting stack but Chen has already managed to add a bunch of chips which means she is now just above trice the amount she started with earlier.

2015 and 2017 Asia Player of the Year, Alan Lau, is not doing too great right now. With a stack of 12,300, he has some work left to do to find a bag at the end of the day. This is also the case for Hon Cheong Lee. Lee has had a pretty good summer, collecting ten cashes in Las Vegas, but he will be looking to find some double-ups soon as he only has about ten big blinds left right now.
