Clinkscales Back for Day 1b
Rex Clinkscales was in the field yesterday for Day 1a, but failed to find a bag after getting rivered out of the tournament. After getting 
in against the 
of an opponent on a 
board, the turn was a brick but the river 
gave his opponent two pair, eliminating Clinkscales.
He's now back in the fray for Day 1b with a fresh stack of 30,000. He is hoping to add another APPT Manila title to the Kickoff title he won at last year's festival, as well as the Manila Megastack title he won back in March.
He started his day fairly aggressive, by winning a pot preflop with a five-bet. A player opened to 300 from under-the-gun, he three-bet to 1,000 chips from the very next position, and everybody folded back to the initial raiser, who proceed with a four-bet for 2,000 chips. Clinkscales wasn't done, as he continued with a five-bet for 5,800, that earned him the pot after his opponent's fold.
