Onda Is On A Slippery Slope

Toshiyuki Onda started out the day eleventh in chips but has not had an easy go of it this afternoon. In this particular hand, he opened the action by raising to 2,400 from under the gun. He was three-bet from a middle position player to 8,000. Onda made the call and the players saw a 
flop.
Onda check-called his opponent's bet of 7,000 and the 
turn was dealt. Onda took the betting lead with 18,000. His opponent answered by moving all in. Onda cut out the chips to call which appeared to leave him with just about 16,000 behind. After some serious thought, he reluctantly let his cards go leaving him with about 1/3 of his stack from the start of the day.
