Roller Coaster for Sombero

It's been a few hands of excitement for Wally Sombero, although in the end his stack didn't change much. First, Sombero lost a big chunk when he ran his {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades} into Didier Cicurel's {A-Clubs} {A-Spades} on a flop of {2-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {J-Clubs}. The board blanked out, dropping Sombero to 10,000 chips. A few hands later he got many of them back. He was all in on a board of {A-Hearts} {K-Clubs} {8-Hearts} with a small flush draw, {6-Hearts} {5-Hearts}. Young Sok Shun turned over {A-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} for top pair, then watched in disgust as the board came running sixes, {6-Diamonds} {6-Spades}, to give a pumped-up Sombero the pot.

Sombero now has 22,000 chips.
