Kostritsyn Surges in Hold'em

Alexander Kostritsyn is now our chip leader much to the delight of his fan club, who are back on the rail today to applaud him to victory.

He first collected a nice pot against Jeff Madsen after Madsen folded to pressure on the turn on a board of {Q-Spades}

.

Soon after, in a three-way pot, Kostritsyn, Zac Fellows and Tino Lechich saw a flop of {K-Spades}

. Kostritsyn bet from the small blind, Lechich raised and Fellows folded. Kostritsyn made the call. The turn was the {9-Spades}

and Kostritsyn check-raised with Lechich calling. The river was the {10-Hearts}

and Kostritsyn led again, with Lechich this time putting in the raise. Kostritsyn put in the third bet and Lechich called.
