Steicke Calls Floor, Loses Razz Hand
Razz
Jamie Pickering was forced to bring-in as both opponents on his left made the call before Rainer Quel acted out of turn and called.
With David Steicke left to act, he called the floor to see what Quel's actions were depending on what Steicke chose to do.
"So if I raise, he gets his options back?"
The tournament director nodded in accordance as Steicke just tossed in two green 25-denomination chips making a call.
"Well he gets no options now!" jokingly added Steicke.
Steicke: (X)(X) / (folded on sixth)
Quel: (X)(X) / (folded on fourth)
Pickering: (X)(X) / (folded on fifth)
Opponent (X)(X) / / (X)
Opponent (X)(X) / / (X)
Steicke led the betting on fourth and fifth street before folding on sixth as the first opponent in the hand took the lead.
No showdown was had however as the second player check-folded seventh while Steicke may be regretting his decision to play the hand that sees him slip to 5,300 in chips.
