Ashby Annihilates Portaro

Full Tilt Red Pro Richard Ashby is now dominating this final table, moving up to more than 300,000 in chips after clashing with Bruno Portaro.
Ashby limped in from under the gun and Portaro raised before the others folded around back to Ashby, who called before drawing two cards against Portaro's one. Ashby check-raised Portaro's bet, but Portaro reraised. Ashby called and both players elected to stand pat before Ashby check-folded to Portaro's bet.
In the very next hand, Portaro limped in from under the gun and Ashby was the only one to come along, checking his option from the big blind before drawing three cards. Portaro drew two cards, then Ashby check-called Portaro's opening bet before electing to draw two cards.
Portaro drew one, then opened after Ashby checked. Ashby check-raised, Portaro four-bet it and Ashby called before both players stood pat on the last draw and both checked before the showdown:

That's about as close as you can get in this game folks! Portaro couldn't help but laugh at his misfortune, but he's now down to 125,000 in chips and will have some work to do.
