Truong was a slight favorite preflop, but the flop gave Angood a flush draw to go with his overs. The paired Truong, though it changed little, and he needed to dodge a king, queen, or a non-three spade on the river. Unfortunately for the Day 1a chip leader, the spiked on the river to give Angood the winner. Truong was eliminated in fifth place and will take home $49,000 for his efforts.
