Neilson's Elimination Brings the Field to the Final 36
Level 17
: 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
A short-stacked Daniel Neilson moved all in for just 20,000 from the button and Ray Ellis and Jan Collado called from the small and big blinds respectively. The former then checked the flop, Collado bet, and Ellis got out of the way.
Neilson:
Collado:
Collado had paired his four on the flop, but he was still behind the pocket tens of Neilson. The turn was of no consequence, but the river was. Collado, who had been running hot here on Day 3, had spiked two pair to eliminate Neilson, who seemed none too pleased and made a beeline for the payout desk.
With that, we're down to 36 players which means Day 3 has come to an end. We're off to get official chip counts, so stay tuned for those as well as a full recap of all the day's action.
