Jimmy "Gobboboy" Fricke is sitting on a stack worth about 6,500. He hasn't been able to play too many hands and has been patiently waiting to strike. Although Gobboboy's most noteworthy finish was second place at the Aussie Millions main event last year, he also cashed at the World Series of Poker Europe's HORSE event. He took 16th place out of 105 runners. so don't count him out in today's event.

Leo Boxell started the day extremely hot as he jumped out to an early chiplead. However, Boxell just took a big hit. On sixth street, Boxell was showing 5-Q-Q-6 to his opponent's 7-8-7-6. Boxell was ahead and rivered two pair. His opponent picked up a 7 on seventh street for trip sevens. Boxell lost the pot as his stack slipped to 5,000.

Paul Khoury and Roy Vandersluis butted heads in a hand where both players had two pair. By sixth street, both players showed:

Vandersluis: 6-7-A-A

At showdown, Roy Vandersluis tabled 6-10-K and won the pot with a bigger two pair. Khoury mucked his hand in disgust, as he slipped to 3,000. Roy Vandersluis increased his stack t 6,200.
