Final Table Analysis: Hands #91-96

Howard Lederer made some serious chip movement. He had been at the bottom of the field for the majority of the day. It wasn't until the last few hands that he made up for lost time. He jumped into second place in chips after a timely double up against Teltscher. Lisandro is currently the "shortstack" while Teltscher slipped to third. Michael Sampoerna is still way ahead of the pack with 1.184 million.

Hand #95 - Mark Teltscher

Howard Lederer has the button in Seat 3. Mark Teltscher completes the small blind and Jeff Lisandro checks from the big blind. The flop is {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}. Teltscher bets 23,000 and Lisandro calls. The turn is the {10-Diamonds}. Teltscher checks, Lisandro bets 45,000 and Teltscher calls. The river is the {4-Hearts} and both players check. Teltscher shows {Q-Hearts}{9-Spades} for a pair of nines, Lisandro mucks, and Teltscher wins the pot.

Hand #94 - Howard Lederer Doubles Through Mark Teltscher

"The Professor"
"The Professor"
Michael Sampoerna has the button in Seat 1. Howard Lederer completes the small blind and Mark Teltscher checks from the big blind. The flop is {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Lederer leads out for 20,000, Teltscher raises to 60,000, Lederer moves all in for 210,000 and Teltscher calls.

Lederer {9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Teltscher {3-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The turn is the {6-Spades}, the river is the {6-Clubs}, and Lederer's ten kicker plays to double him up to 500,000.

Final Table Analysis: Tony G's Thoughts

"You have to wait for power!"
"You have to wait for power!"
Tony G has been sweating the final table. The G noted that Jeff Lisandro's chip count has dipped since he hasn't played too many hands.

"With so much money on the line, you have to wait for power," explained Tony G on why the action has slowed down a bit and why they players have played passively over the previous fifteen or so hands.

Lisandro has his hands full with an aggressive Mark Teltscher, Michael Sampoerna's monster stack, and the cagey Howard Lederer.
