Cory Waaland will return for Day 2 with 211,000 in chips after a run that got started when he eliminated another player with a better kicker on a pair of tens. Ken Pedersen will also move on to Day 2 after making a flush to bust Guy Caudill.

The field will once again play down to 12.5%, with all three flights returning for Sundays Day 2 finale with eight minutes left in Level 13.
