Every one is out celebrating the Holiday with their family but we do have some people here playing some poker. Here are a few more that have taken their seat in the last hour with starting chip stack (could be more or less at this point) including Laurence Wolf who recently took 2nd place in the $2,700 Spring Poker Open Championship Event.

Quads Will Do

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

In a raised pot that had 3 players see a flop of {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, the chips started flying. The first player to act led out for 5,000 and John Hall, one to his left, flatted. The pre-flop raiser moved all in. As did the original flop bettor. As did John Hall. The cards were turned over:

Pre-flop Raiser: {K-}{K-}
Flop Bettor: {7-}{7-}
John Hall: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

Hall had flopped quads and it was a good thing too as a King would come on the river. It was a full triple up for Hall to 67,400 and the player with Kings won a very small side pot.

Royalty

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante
Miguel Javier shortly after hitting a royal flush
Miguel Javier shortly after hitting a royal flush

With a board of {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{A-Clubs}, Miguel Javier was facing a 10,000 bet from his opponent.

"I'm going to raise," Javier said, tossing out an additional 10,000.

His opponent sighed and held his cards up in the air, showing a small flush. He reluctantly tossed out the call and asked Javier "do you have a boat?"

Javier didn't have a boat. He had the best hand you can get in poker, a royal flush, as he had {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. The pot was sent his way and Javier smiled. "That's my first time. Never had a royal."

Now you have Javier.
