All In The Family
One of the many familiar faces in Flight A today is that of Joe Cappuccio, who also happens to be the spouse of Defending Champion Katie Stone. If she plays this event, it will be Flight B later today.
Last Fall, the Cappuccio family had a strong showing during the 2018 Fall Poker Open. Cappuccio got heads-up in the $560 Deepstack Kick-Off NLH event, chopping for $128,358 �� his best live cash. Stone then conquered the $300 Deepest Stack NLH event, taking home another $19,337 for the family bankroll.
This Fall, Stone was first to the money, finishing 9th in the $500K GTD Kick-Off for $13,212. That means it's Cappuccio's turn to cash in the Deepest Stack, right?
We'll find out tomorrow if the family can bring home another BFPO cash and possibly make a run at a title defense in this event.
