Event #21 $230 Deepstack NLH drew a total of 247 entries creating a prize pool of over $47,000 and when the smoke cleared Peter Zarriello was the last man standing.
It was a long night of tournament poker that wrapped up in the Event Center in the late-night hours.
Zarriello entered heads-up play against Benjamin Datsko with more than a 2-1 chip deficit but managed to double up early in the match and he never looked back.
"I was pretty card dead for much of the day, but I was on fire at the final table, I won this one for Kobe," Zarriello said as he posed for his winner's photo.
Zarriello took home the second-largest tournament score of his career earning $13,420 and his first Borgata Poker Open title.

Event #21 of the Borgata Poker is the $230 Deepstack NLH. There were 247 total entries creating a prize pool of $47,918.
The final 27 players are guaranteed at least $431 and the winner will take home $13,420 and the BWPO trophy.
The Borgata Spring Poker Open is slated to run April 7-24, 2020 and will culminate with a $2,700 buy-in Championship Event.

Registration has closed for the Deep Stack NLH event with an unofficial entry count of 247, putting the prize pool close to $48,000 and well over the $25,000 guarantee.
They'll play through Level 14, then take a one hour dinner break at about 6:50pm.

There is an add-on option where players can get an extra 5,000 chips for a $5 dealer toke and they can do this at the start, or any time up until registration closes.
