Steve Patch has been seen accumulating chips throughout the entirety of Day 1a here at the Golden Gates Casino Poker Parlour. He just took down another pot where a player in middle position opened to 3,500 and received calls from Evan Shaughnessy on the button, Patch in the small blind, and Elenna Martinez in the big blind.
The flop came 
and action checked all the way to Shaughnessy. He bet 4,500 and Patch quickly put in a check-raise to 13,000. Martinez and the original raiser got out of the way and Shaughnessy thought for a few seconds before letting his hand go as well.
Patch then won another pot and is now healthily over 150,000 and threatening to eclipse the 200,000-mark.
