Thorsrud Out with Queens

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

At almost exactly the same time as Marius Heiene busted the tournament also lost Ylva Thorsrud on the feature table.

Meelis Meliste opened to 25,000 before Joachim Bjorum Hillestad raised to 119,000 and Thorsrud three-bet jammed for 375,000.

Meliste folded and Hillestad called.

Thorsrud was looking good for a double holding {Q-}{Q-} against Hillestad's {A-}{Q-}. However, an ace spiked the door and Thorsrud was eliminated in 25th place for 1,820.

Marius Heiene opened for 24,000 from early position and Gert Laanemets flatted from one seat over.

Chia Mohammed Junis three-bet jammed for almost 500,000. Heiene called off his stack of about 300,000 and Laanemets folded.

Gert Laanemets: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Marius Heiene: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

Heiene was unable to win the flip as the board ran out {9-Spades}{3-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} and he collected the 26th place prize of 1,820.
