Denmark's Kim Christensen Chip Leader Heading into Day 2 of the Coolbet Open Main Event
Day 1b of the 2018 Coolbet Open �550 Main Event at Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Park Hotel was a huge success with 264 entrants more than doubling the 104 entrants entering on Day 1a to create a field of at least 368 entrants.
The field will continue to grow with late registration open until the end of Level 9 or the first level of Day 2.
A total of 151 entrants survived which brings the remaining field size currently at 214 players with 63 surviving Day 1a. Late registration is open until the end of Level 9, which is the first level to start Day 2 tomorrow.
Denmark's Kim Christensen ended Day 1a in the chip lead with 190,900 and sits comfortably in first place overall heading into Day 2.
Also bagging big stacks were Estonia's Carmen-Elina Vist, who shared with PokerNews that she "ran like an animal" with 151,300 in chips and Finland's Veli-Pekka Alakorva with 150,100 in chips.
Meanwhile, Day 1a chip leader heads into Day 2 with the second biggest stack with Dmitri Zatsik with 163,700 in chips and Craig Timmis in third place with 152,600 in chips.
