The players are now on their first break of the day. It will last 15 minutes and when we return there will be 30 minutes remaining in level 19.
From the cutoff seat, Hasan Habib raised to 50,000. Erik Seidel flatted on the button in position and Chino Rheem folded after some hesitation from the small blind. Gavin Smith folded in the big blind and the flop came down . Habib continuation bet 70,000 and was called by Seidel.
Fourth street brought the and now the board was paired with snowmen. Habib studied and then checked. Seidel checked behind with a subtle check on the rail of the table.
The completed the board on the river and both players checked. The two players each held and chopped up the pot.
Action folded to Hasan Habib on the button and he raised to 53,000. Erik Seidel folded his small blind before Chino Rheem three-bet to 171,000. Without much pause, Habib began to stack chips worth significantly more than the 118,000 he owed all while simultaneously staring down his opponent. It wasn't to be though. Apparently the stare down gave Habib a vibe he didn't like and he tossed his cards in the muck.
From under the gun, Hasan Habib raised to 52,000. In the cutoff seat, Chino Rheem called and then Gavin Smith called from the button. The two blinds, Jason Mercier and Huck Seed, folded.
The flop came down and Habib fired 120,000. Rheem called and then Smith raised all in for 481,000. Habib tanked for a couple minutes and then mucked his hand. Rheem also folded and Smith won the pot.
Erik Seidel had the button and raised first into the pot for 50,000. Gavin Smith awaited him in the big blind and three-bet to 138,000. Seidel made the call and the two saw the flop heads up. Smith checked and Seidel bet 90,000. Smith thought for awhile, checking his cards multiple times during his deliberation. Eventually, he tossed his cards into the muck and Seidel scooped the pot.
On a board reading in a pot that had been checked down to the river, Chino Rheem bet 48,000. Gavin Smith immediately made the call and Rheem tapped the table as if to say, "Good call."
Smith tabled for a straight and Rheem mucked his hand.
From the button, Huck Seed raised to 50,000. Hasan Habib called from the small blind and action was heads up to the flop. Habib checked and Seed fired 60,000. Habib check-raised to 160,000 and Seed went into the tank. He moved all in for 415,000. Habib thought it over for a minute or two and then folded.
Picking up the action on the flop, Chino Rheem checked and Gavin Smith bet 77,000. Rheem made the call and the turn brought a very interesting card with the , completing a lot of draws. Rheem checked and Smith fired a bet of 115,000. Rheem tanked long and hard before finally giving it up. Smith pulled in the pot as his crowd erupted in cheers.
