Stani And Deliver

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Just as every other bag on the table was packed full of chips and the players departing, Kevin Stani was still involved in a hand. The EPT Tallinn champion had moved all-in on the turn of a {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Clubs} board for around 25,000, effectively setting his opponent all-in.

Even as other players were signing off on chip counts, Stani remained as still as a statue while his foe agonised over what was ultimately the very final hand of the day. A clock was eventually called and the full minute used but Stani's opponent decided not to pull the trigger and his hand was declared dead after the countdown. Even after this, he requested to see the Norwegian's hand but Stani politely rebuffed all requests, surviving to make it through to Day 2.
