Cheong Doubles Through Neilson

We may be in San Remo, Italy for this EPT event, but this hand saw two Australians duke it out in Daniel Neilson and Kyle Cheong.

The two were in action on the {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} flop with Neilson up first. He checked and Cheong fired 1,275. Neilson check-raised to 3,600 and Cheong made the call.

A fourth spade hit the felt when the {Q-Spades} landed on the turn. Neilson follow up his flop check-raise with a bet of 5,200. Cheong thought for a little bit and then called to see the river.

The {5-Clubs} paired the board on the river and Neilson moved all in for 17,525. Cheong began to think. At one point he told Neilson that he wasn't slow rolling him, but was rather just thinking things through to make sure it all made sense. He eventually made the call for less chips than Neilson moved in for.

Neilson tabled the {K-Spades}{9-Spades} for a flopped flush. Cheong tabled the {A-Spades}{3-Spades} for a better flopped flush and won the pot. He doubled up while Neilson was left crippled.
