The players who finished in the top three spots at EPT Copenhagen Season 7 have all graced us with their presence on Day 1b.

The reigning champion, Michael Tureniec, is sharing a table with two former EPT final tablists. Jesus Cortes Lizano (EPT Barcelona Season 7) and Andreas Wiese (EPT Vienna Season 7) making it a trio of talent on table 26. Here is Tureniec playing his first pot of the day.

Tureniec raised to 275 in first position and the small blind defended. The flop was {Q-Spades} {10-Clubs} {6-Clubs} and the small blind check-called a 400 Tureniec bet. On the turn we had the {10-Hearts} and Tureniec won his first pot after a 1,000 double barrel got through.

The runner-up in last years event is also a talented Swedish player. Per Linde picked up $449,770 for that finish, making it his best performance to date. He is currently sat with Team PokerStars Pro and EPT legend Luca Pagano. We spent a short time around their table but for the moment the fireworks remain firmly shut in their box.

The third spot in last years final went to John Eames. Just like Linde the $257,011 he picked up for his 3rd place finish was also his best performance to date. Eames has a tough job ahead of him as he is sharing the same oxygen as Team PokerStars Pro Viktor Blom and Martin Jacobson. Jacobson suffered a car accident on his way back from EPT Deauville and the person driving the car was a player Eames backs in online action. Luckily, no one was hurt in the accident and Eames took the opportunity to thank Jacobson. Why was he thanking him? Well Eames believes Jacobson runs so good that it was his presence in the car that avoided them all suffering an awful death. Here is Eames only action to date

Eames makes it 300 to play from first position and Adel Omar three-bets from the cutoff making it 1,100 to continue. Eames decides to do just that but does fold to a flop c-bet from his opponent.
