Jean-Noel Thorel check-called a bet of 80,000 on the flop against Joni Jouhkimainen. The turn was the , and Thorel checked again. Jouhkimainen bet 175,000, and Thorel announced a raise. He had intended to make it 475,000, but first slid out the additional 300,000, and then the 175,000 for the call. This was ruled a string raise, and Thorel could only min-raise to 350,000. Jouhkimainen folded, and Thorel won the pot.
Recreational player Eduard Bhaggoe has been ousted in seventh at the EPT10 Barcelona Main Event, a career best finish for the Netherlander whose run went a bit further than that of his wife, Siema, who played last year's Barcelona Main Event, as the PokerStars blog reports.

Jonathan Duhamel raised to 80,000 before the flop and found Thomas Muhlocker three-bet to 190,000 from the next seat over. Duhamel tanked for a bit before shipping all in over the top for what looked to be a little over 1.1 million. Muhlocker snapped him off.

Duhamel struck gold on the flop, giving him a pair of kings and the lead in the hand. The turned and Duhamel seemed primed to double here during five-handed play. Suddenly, the 2010 WSOP Main Event champion went from in the lead to out of the tournament as the river brought the and gave Muhlocker a winning straight.

The table folded their hands around to Daniel Negreanu who completed from the small blind. Jonathan Duhamel checked to see a flop and it came down . Negreanu fired 60,000 and Duhamel called. The turned and Negreanu led once more, this time for 155,000. Duhamel stuck around.
