Goldberg Takes on Pollak
Level 13
: 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Alain Goldberg opened to 6,100 in the cutoff and Benjamin Pollak flat-called in the big bling. Pollak then check-called a 7,500 continuation bet from Goldberg on a flop.
The turn was a flush-completing and when Pollak checked Goldberg snap-checked behind. This led to Pollak taking an 8,600 sized stab at the pot when the completed the board, but he soon folded when Goldberg moved all-in on him.
Pollak has over 200,000 chips so he will not be too worried about losing a few to Goldberg here.
