Limping Lo

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #56: With 42 minutes left in the level it was Rono Lo in the cutoff who limped with {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. Daniel Colman on the button with {A-Spades}{J-Spades} isolated to 160,000. Both blinds folded and action was back on Lo. Lo called and they saw a flop with 435,000 in the middle.

{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} on the flop and Lo checked, Colman checked back. The {9-Hearts} on the turn helped Lo more than Colman having now picked up a gutshot. Lo bet out 180,000, and Colman, with a 84% hand but no way of knowing that, folded.

Hand #57: Lo in the hijack with {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} limped again. Colman, now with {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} in the cutoff, folded. Igor Kurganov over limped with {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} on the button. Schemion completed with {J-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} from the small blind and Phua checked his big blind with {3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}.

{Q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} on the flop and everyone checked. The {6-Spades} on the turn made Schemion check again. Phua bet out 125,000 with his gutshot and Lo made the call with his eights. Kurganov over called with the best hand, Schemion folded.

The {Q-Clubs} on the river gave Kurganov a full house. Phua checked to Lo who checked as well. Kurganov didn't check of course, he bet 375,000 into 615,000. Phua instantly folded, but Lo thought about it. He did fold eventually and Kurganov took it down without a show down.
