All Quiet On the Litvinov Front

Artem Litvinov likes to be the centre of attention, the table captain and the joker in the pack. Today though, so far he has been unusually subdued. Sometimes with his earphones plugged in, sometimes without, he has largely been keeping his own council.
Sat on his immediate right is Michael Telker, himself a talkative fellow but in a slightly different way as he likes to play the na?f nit to the other seemingly more experienced and aggressive players. Telker too though has been keeping schtum.
Perhaps it is the fact that the prize pool has been announced and no one has yet made the money. The thought of a �1,105,000 would probably focus most minds on the task at hand.
