Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Andreas Goeller opened the button with {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for 110,000. Andrea Benelli thought about it for a little bit, but folded his small blind. Vicky Coren-Mitchell in the big blind made the call though with {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

The flop came {K-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Coren-Mitchell checked to Goeller. Goeller made a 120,000 continuation bet. Coren-Mitchell reached for chips and placed 325,000 in the middle. Goeller had no other option than to fold.

Pariset Eliminated in 8th Place (53,100)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Emmanuel Pariset
Emmanuel Pariset

In a rather bizarre hand, Emmanuel Pariset has been eliminated from the tournament.

Jordan Westmorland opened for 100,000 under the gun plus two with {A-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Emmanuel Pariset made the call from the cutoff with {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. In the big blind Andrea Benelli squeezed to 325,000 with {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}. Westmorland quickly folded but Pariset snap called.

The flop came {2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and it was Benelli first to act. But Benelli wasn't the one actually acting first. Emmanuel Pariset moved allin out of turn and Benelli checked so the action stood. Benelli then called and Pariset needed a small miracle to stay alive.

The {J-Diamonds} on the turn gave him the flush draw, but the {9-Clubs} on the river was a blank and Pariset was out just like that. The other players are now guaranteed 76,650 while the Frenchman takes home 53,100.

Pariset Dealt Aces

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Emmanuel Pariset limped in the small blind with {a-Hearts}{a-} Bruno Stefanelli checked the big blind with {j-Spades}{4-Clubs}.

The flop was {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs}. Pariset checked and called a 60,000 bet from Stefanelli. The turn card was the {8-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The river card was the {6-Hearts} and now Pariset led for 110,000. It looked like Stefanelli was thinking about making a move but mucked.

Pariset showed the table his flopped set of aces.

Benelli Flats With Queens

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

From the hijack position Andrea Benelli opened with {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} to 125,000. It was the second time he got queens this final table. The first time he picked up just the blinds and antes. This time around, he would get some more action.

Jordan Westmorland made a three-bet with {A-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for 225,000 from the small blind. The big blind wasn't there, Benelli made the call in position.

Westmorland flopped a four on {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and continued with a 175,000 bet in the 540,000 pot. Benelli once again made the call.

The {5-Clubs} on the turn made both players check. The river came the {5-Hearts} and Westmorland bet out 300,000. Benelli quickly called and won the pot.

Fundaro Absent

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Giacomo Fundaro incorrectly thought the players were on a break and has wandered away from the table.

He will still have to post his blinds and antes so he is missing out.

The first break is at the end of this level.
