Thorel Denied More Action

Level 9 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Right before registration closed, Jean-Noel Thorel walked up to the registration desk, handed over another 50,000, and received a ticket to give it one more try. He made his way back to the tournament area, handed over the receipt, received 200,000 in chips, and walked over to his table.

There was just one problem, though. Thorel had already reentered once, and this event was scheduled with single reentry only. While Thorel was wandering to find his seat, he was called back by the floor right before he sat down. Thorel was told the event was indeed single reentry and that registration had made a mistake. The floor staff showed Thorel the structure sheet to be sure he understood, then Thorel gave back the chips and went on his way.

Mark Teltscher

Mark Teltscher: {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Jason Mo: {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

The board ran out {3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and Mo doubled. Teltscher still had plenty left.
