Wheeler Doubles Through Sahamies

Level 23 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Four hands in a row, there was an all in. Ike Haxton shoved from the cutoff and under the gun to claim the blinds and antes each. Then Jason Wheeler also shoved the cutoff without getting called before moving all in again the very next hand from under the gun. This time, Ilari Sahamies called and put Wheeler at risk for 895,000 chips.

Wheeler: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Sahamies: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran out {3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and Mustapha Kanit started dancing on the rail in order to celebrate the double up of his buddy.

Level 23 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Jean-Noel Thorel
Jean-Noel Thorel

Jean-Noel Thorel made it 250,000 from early position and Ilari Sahamies three-bet to 800,000 from the small blind.

Jason Wheeler let go of the big blind and Thorel shoved for 2.2 million total. Sahamies snap-called with the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and Thorel was drawing thin with the {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

The board rolled out {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{q-Hearts} taking Thorel out with it and giving Sahamies a massive chip lead.

Not Enough Outs for Haxton

Level 23 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

At the start of the new level, the action folded around to Ike Haxton in the small blind and the PokerStars Team Online member moved all in. Ilari Sahamies peeked at his cards and then quickly called.

Sahamies: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Haxton: {K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

The {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop was no sweat yet, but the {A-Diamonds} turn gave Haxton a gutshot and nut flush draw. It was the blank {4-Clubs} river that let Sahamies double for 1,795,000 and that left Haxton short on around five big blinds.

Level 22 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Vlado Banicevic
Vlado Banicevic

Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 250,000 from under the gun and the action folded around to Vlado Banicevic. He checked his first hole card and then moved all in. "You can still fold?!" Banicevic joked to his table neighbor and Thorel tossed in the extra chips.

Thorel: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Banicevic: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}

The flop {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} left Banicevic in desperate shape and it was all over after the {Q-Clubs} turn, making the {K-Spades} river a formality.

Straight for Sahamies

Level 22 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 200,000 and Ilari Sahamies called out of the big blind. The Finn called and Thorel showed {K-Spades}{10-Hearts} for king-high, Sahamies took the pot with {7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for a straight.
