Seat 3: Patrick "clickii10" Clarke, 27, Ardee, Ireland

Patrick Clarke
Patrick Clarke

Patrick Clarke is the last Irishman standing and bears the Emerald Isle's hopes on his shoulders. While home soil might be considered an advantage for the 27-year-old from Ardee, there hasn't been an EPT champion winning at home for the last twenty stops (the last was Daniel Pidun at EPT9 Berlin).

Clarke has already tasted success here in Dublin - he won the Irish Poker Open in April 2014, for a lifetime best cash of 200,000. A year later, Clarke made the final of UKIPT5 Nottingham, finishing fourth for 58,100.

Prior to the EPT12 Dublin Poker Festival, Clarke was 47th on Ireland's alltime money list with $396k in live tournament winnings. So far, Ireland has one former EPT champion: Steve O'Dwyer, who took down the EPT9 Grand Final Main Event.

Seat 4: Kully Sidhu, 33, Walsall, UK

Kully Sidhu
Kully Sidhu

Kully Sidhu is a professional poker player whos already experienced the EPT limelight when he made the final at EPT10 London, Season 10. He was the first to depart on that occasion, winning 60,640 for eighth place. However, Main Event finals aside, it was at EPT12 Barcelona where the 33-year-old from Walsall banked by far his biggest cash. Sidhu took part in a three-way deal in the 10k High Roller along with Mustapha Kanit and Nick Petrangelo and was awarded second place.

The 640,000 prize accounts for the better part of his $1.3 million in live tournament winnings to date and hes currently ranked 74th in the England's all-time money list. Three months ago, he took down the 10k High Roller at Master Classics of Poker in Amsterdam for 161,172.

Sidhu also has a plethora of achievements on local tours in the UK, having won the GUKPT Manchester in 2010. In April last year, he was up against Patrick Clarke on the final table of UKIPT5 Nottingham and the two Brits will face each other again here in Dublin.

Ilios Kamatakis

The oldest player on the EPT Dublin final table is Ilios Kamatakis who hails from Preveza, northwest Greek town located at the mouth of the Ambracian Gulf. The 43-year-old is known as "ILIOS72" on PokerStars, and also on Twitch, where he's streaming his poker sessions.

At EPT12 Prague, Kamatakis earned his career's biggest prize when he finished fifth in the 10k High Roller, taking 180,890. With $626k in live tournament winnings, he's currently ranked #8 in the Greece's all-time money list.

Before he arrived here in Dublin, he had four EPT Main Event cashes to his name, the best result being 19th at EPT7 Prague. Kamatakis's online accolades include fourth in the Sunday Million for $69,624 (March 2009), fourth in the Super Tuesday for $40k (December 2015) and he also made the final table of the 2016 TCOOP $2k High Roller, finishing eighth for $35,581.

Rhys Jones
Rhys Jones

Rhys Jones is a professional poker player from Portsmouth in the UK who splits his time between playing live tournaments and online MTTs, with much success in both fields.

Jones biggest cash in the live field to date was for $85,131, for a third place finish at the 2014 WSOP in Vegas. Since 2011, he has made 10 $20k+ cashes in live tournaments and is no doubt a feared player online as well. His largest online score came in 2014, coincidentally just two months after his largest live win. Jones beat a field of 76 players in a $2,100 FTOPS event on Full Tilt, earning himself over $93k in the process. Jones has a whopping 84 tournament wins documented online, with over $3,500,000 in earnings.

Jones, who got engaged to girlfriend Kristy a month ago, is currently ranked 148th on the all England all-time money list with $618,390 in live winnings to date. He won his seat for EPT Dublin on PokerStars in a 215 NL satellite last month.

Fun fact: Jones was once a competitor on The Weakest Link, a popular TV game show in the UK.
