Egues Shows the Bluff
On the button, Stefan Jedlicka raised to 26,000 and Cristian Egues in the small blind and Charlie Carrel in the big blind called. On the flop of , all three players checked. Egues then bet the turn for 40,000 and Carrel called, Jedlicka folded.
The appeared on the river and Egues bet 100,000 pretty quickly. "I have a very good hand, think I have to," Carrel said. "You represent a jack?" Carrel continued and let further small talk follow.
"This is gonna take a minute," Carrel then said and Philipp Gruissem and Hari Bercovici took a short walk around the table.
"You gonna show me the bluff, that's what I am scared of," carrel added. Egues replied "I don't show" and Carrel asked to see just one.
"Where are you from?" Carrel inquired. "Spain," was the reply from Egues and Carrel let out a "oh ####". Egues then chimed in and clarified he was from the Basque country.
"Is there a difference?" Carrel asked and the table talk continued for some time still before the Brit folded. Egues showed him the in the face and Pierre Neuville started clapping, Carrel also clapped and laughed.
