Boivin Back At It

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Thomas Boivin won the EPT Prague 25,000 Single-Day High Roller for 375,520 last night and was one of the players to enter the Main Event just before Day 2 started. Boivin is off to a pretty good start already.

Takao Shimizu raised to 3,500 from the hijack which both Boivin, in the cutoff, and Mark Buckley, in the big blind, called.

The flop came {6-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}, both Buckley and Shimizu checked. Boivin looked at the board and then his own stack before deciding to bet 2,000. Shimizu was the only one to make the call.

The turn was the {q-Diamonds}, Shimizu now check-folded to Boivin's continuation-bet of 4,700.
