Thorel Jams Into the Nutflush of Adams
Level 14
: 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Just prior to this hand, Timothy Adams had three-bet all in against Jean-Noel Thorel and the Frenchman folded.
Then, Ahadpur Khangah from under the gun, Bryn Kenney in the hijack and Cary Katz in the cutoff all limped in and Adams on the button made it 120,000 to go. Thorel in the big blind was the only caller and the flop was checked through.
After the turn, Thorel moved all in for what appeared to be more than 500,000 and Adams snap-called.
Jean-Noel Thorel:
Timothy Adams:
Thorel knew he was caught with the fingers in the cookie jar and left his chair with the words "bad bluff" while the meaningless rolled off on the river. Within two hands, Adams essentially more than doubled his stack and Thorel was sent to the rail.
