Frederik Brink raised to 80,000 from under the gun, Alexander Ivarsson called in late position and Leonardo Patacconi defended his big blind. The flop was and Patacconi, first to act, open-shoved for 555,000.
Brink came over the top for 1,230,000 and Ivarsson snap-called it off to create a three-way monster pot.
Leonardo Patacconi:
Frederik Brink:
Alexander Ivarsson:
Ivarsson, already wielding a massive stack, found himself in a commanding lead to become the overwhelming chip leader in the tournament. However, faith would tell a different story as the turn and
river completed Brink's flush to send the massive three-way pot over to the EPT8 Madrid champion.
Patacconi briefly celebrated upon seeing the river, before noticing that his wheel was second best. He pointed at Brink to acknowledge the winner, then left the tournament area.

From under the gun, Max Deveson bet 90,000 on a flop. Terence Etim check-raised all in for 370,000 from the big blind and Deveson called it off after giving it some thought.
Terence Etim:
Max Deveson:
Deveson had called with just ace-high but had the current best hand as Etim needed a hit with his open-ender. Neither the turn nor
river bailed him out and he slid his stack towards the American.
Meanwhile, Serge Candin and Marko Boskovic also departed to leave the field with 34.
