Guillen Holds, Nearly Triples Up

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Joris Ruijs opened the action to 3,000 and received calls from Angel Guillen, as well as the blinds that included Fabrice Aujoulat. It was Aujoulat that led out for 12,000 on an {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop. The big blind folded, but Ruijs opted to slide a towering stack of T-5,000 chips in the middle, more than enough to cover the entire table.

Guillen called it off for 47,900 total and Aujoulat called all in for slightly less than that after briefly considering in.

Angel Guillen: {5-Spades}{4-Spades}
Fabrice Aujoulat: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Joris Ruijs: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

All players had a fair shot to win the hand but it would be Guillen's current best that remained best after the {3-Clubs} turn and {9-Clubs} river completed the board.
