Piraux Shows a Straight Flush

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Romain Piraux had lost a big portion of his stack early on to Theodore McQuilkin and both just met again in an interesting hand. Piraux made it 300 to go and the button called, as did McQuilkin in the big blind. On the {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Spades} flop, McQuilkin check-raised from 500 to 1,700 and Piraux called, the button had cold-called the continuation bet and folded.

McQuilkin checked and called a bet of 2,500 on the {2-Hearts} turn and check-folded the {7-Spades} river to a bet of 5,000. Piraux flipped over one of his cards and it was the {9-Spades}.
