Welcome back to PokerNews coverage of the 2019 PokerStars EPT Prague 2,200 EPT National High Roller, where a quick, 10-hour turnaround after 14 hours of Day 1 action will bring 143 players back inside the Hilton Prague to compete for the top prize of 342,810 set to be earned throughout the course of the day.

Everybody has already locked up a first-level payout of 3,465 and another marathon of a day of is expected to get underway shortly. Conor Beresford (769,000) enters the day atop the counts, followed by Bjorn Kozenkai (703,000), the only other player to bag north of 700,000. Julijan Rados (615,000), Remi Wyrzykiewicz (609,000), and Frank Scholten (598,000) round out the top five.

However, heaps of strong competitors remain all over the leader board. Dietrich Fast (508,000) and Sam Grafton (451,000) headline the list of players starting Day 2 with more than double the average stack, with other above-average stacks like Chris Da-Silva (306,000) and Jean-Ren Fontaine also well in the mix.

There is also a long list of players coming into the day on the shorter side, having just squeaked into the money after a long, slow bubble to end Day 1. Viktor Blom (86,000), Rainer Kempe (54,000), Scott Margereson (50,000), and 2018 PokerStars EPT Prague Main Event champion Paul Michaelis (25,000) are just a few entering the day with stacks that would favor a quick double and beyond once play resumes.

Cards are back in the air at 12:30 p.m. local time, and play will continue until 143 becomes one. The clock will pick up from last nights stopping point with eight minutes left in Level 17 (3,000/6,000/6,000) and levels will remain 40 minutes in length for the duration of the tournament. Twenty-minute breaks will occur at the end of every three full levels, and there will be a 75-minute dinner break upon the completion of Level 26.

Who will become the next EPT National High Roller champion? Stay tuned to PokerNews to find out.
