Calderone Catches Up to Double

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A player under the gun raise to 4,000 and a player in middle position called. Christophe Panetti raised to 12,500 from the button and Eros Calderone shoved hist last 57,700 from the small blind.

The big blind got out of the way and the other two callers got out of the way. Panetti thought it over for a moment before he put out a stack of chips to call. Action was heads up and Calderone was at risk.

Eros Calderone: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Christophe Panetti: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Calderone turned a pair of nines to pick up the big double.
