The return of the 2022 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) presented by Monte-Carlo Casino? to the Monte-Carlo Sporting complex on the French Riviera has seen a record number for one of its marquee events right at the start of the series. At least 1,918 entries have emerged in the �1,100 FPS Main Event and they have created a prize pool of �1,842,240.

All four starting days played down to the top 15 percent and once each of the bubble burst, the remaining survivors bagged and tagged their chips. A total of 287 hopefuls advanced from the Day 1 carnage and they will be back in the Salle des Etoiles as of noon local time on Saturday, April 30. 2022. All of them are in the money and the payout information will be announced once the players are back in their seats.

Returning blinds in level 16 will be 2,000-5,000 with a big blind ante of 5,000 and 13 minutes are left in the level, which resumes where the fastest starting day concluded in the previous two days. As of Day 2 and until the end of the tournament, the level duration increases to 60 minutes each. Only one player has a seven-figure stack to his name and that happens to be Brazil's Lucas Serafini, who will return with 1,101,000 in chips.

His nearest follower is Romania's Marius Gicovanu (852,000), followed by Eugenio Peralta (726,000), and Day 1a chip leader Alexander Tkatschew (650,000). Also in the overnight top ten is WSOP Europe bracelet winner Renat Bohdanov, who made it through with a very healthy stack of 623,000. After reaching the final table of the �10,200 Mystery Bounty Event, Imad Derwiche also succeeded in his next tournament and bagged up 560,000.

The red spade is represented by several ambassadors on Day 2 including Alejandro "Papo MC" Lococo (249,000), Benjamin "Spraggy" Spragg (245,000), and Steve Enriquez (65,000). The trio is joined by a host of well-known poker pros such as Tsugunari Toma, Bryan Paris, Tomas Jozonis, Justin Saliba, Gianluca Speranza, Luigi Shehadeh, and Ana Marquez to name all but a few.

Day 2 is scheduled to play upon completion of level 22 at approximately 7 pm local time. Another two tournament days will follow thereafter to whittle down a record-breaking field for the FPS in Monte-Carlo all the way to a winner.
