Crocetta Talks Marcone Into a Call For Tournament Life
Antonio Crocetta opened to 4,500 from under the gun and both Michel Marcone in early position and Stephan Chekroun in the big blind made the call.
The flop came 7?5?4? and Chekroun checked to Crocetta who continued for 10,000, which only Marcone called. On the 5? turn Crocetta fired again, this time for 22,000. Marcone made the call and the pair saw the K? river.
Crocetta took a few seconds before moving all in, just barely covering the roughly 40,000 remaining for Marcone, who went deep in the tank.
"Flushing?" asked Crocetta as he awaited Marcone's decision. After close to a minute, Marcone slid his stack forward to make the call.
Crocetta rolled over A?A? for the overpair and Marcone revealed A?Q? for the ace-high hero call as he made his way to the exit.
