Hadnagy Calls Farrell's All-In with his Cards Exposed
On a board of 5?10?J?2?9? with already more than 100,000 chips in the pot, Niall Farrell moved all in for 42,800 from the big blind. According to a player at the table, he check-raised on the flop, bet big on the turn, and shoved on the river.
However, after he put all his chips in the middle, Sandor Hadnagy from under the gun... revealed his cards! He showed A?10?, but didn't make a decision yet. The floor was called, and Hadnagy was firmly warned that he wasn't allowed to do that at all. However, he could still make a decision, and eventually, he called.
Niall Farrell: J?10?
Sandor Hadnagy: A?10?
Hadnagy called with a pair, but Farrell had two pair to double up. "It is not allowed, but it should be, it would be more fun", laughed Farrell after the hand.
The floor said Hadnagy "should have received one or two rounds of penalty," but he didn't get it because he only had two blinds left. Thanks to this decision, he was lucky enough to double up on the next hand.
