The 2024 Irish Open Main Event Champion, Tero Laurila, three-bet to 25,000 from the cutoff, which folded out the button and the blinds. Paparo called ahead of De Sousa returning his cards to the dealer.
On the A?J?8? flop, Paparo check-raised to 30,000 over a bet of 15,000. Laurila quickly moved all in as the bigger stack, and Paparo called off the 40,000 more he had behind.
