Papangelis Shoves the River on Sicsic
Level 1
: Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Eleftherios Papangelis and Gilbert Sicsic built a pot of 7,000 as they went heads-up to the turn on a board of 5?4?3?A?. Papangelis then bet 3,500 from the button and Sicsic called in the cutoff.
The river was the 4? and Sicsic led out for 11,100. Papangelis covered his face with his hand, then leaned over the table and peered over at Sicsic's hand as he tanked for a minute. He eventually announced he was all in for 26,000 and Sicsic quickly folded.
"Wow. A big hand for three players," the only other player at the table said after the hand.
