Julian Thew has beaten 281 other players to net official winnings of �670,800 as the champion of the PokerStars EPT Baden 2007. A long four days for the man they call "Yo-Yo". He started off losing half his stack in the second hand of the tournament but then got lucky with Q-Q vs. K-K, spiking a queen on the flop, and he never looked back.

After Vladimir Poleshchuk eliminated the first three players, Julian started to take control of the final table. The key pot was when he hit his flush draw against Thomas Fuller to get three-handed with a big chip lead. Once Denes Kalo knocked out Vladimir, Julian never lost the chip lead.
