A long and grueling Day 2 saw 141 players looking to play down to a final table, but after 10 levels of play the action came to an end with 23 remaining. Leading the way with 2,015,000 in chips was Ukraines Oleksii Khoroshenin. Close behind were Ole Schemion, Alexander Ivarsson, Andrey Zaichenko, and Anton Astapau. Also in contention were Dan Shak, Jonathan Little, Marvin Rettenmaier, and Ari Engel.

With 11 reentries and two new playerss before the start of Day 2, the total number of entries was capped off at 309 (233 unique players and 76 reentries), which set a new record once again here in Prague. That created a prize pool of 3,028,000 that was to be distributed to the top 39 players, with an impressive 606,400 put aside for the eventual winner.

Action recommenced in Level 11 (1,000/2,000/300) and the players gradually hit the rail. Some of those included Olivier Busquet, Mike Watson, Brian Roberts, Mustapha Kanit, Timothy Adams, Mike Mcdonald, David Vamplew, and Team PokerStars Pros Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier and Eugene Katchalov.

When the field was down to 40 players remaining, the money bubble was in effect and it would take two hours for it to eventually burst. The money bubble wasnt without its moments, either. From Ioannis Apostolidis moving all in twice and warning his opponents to Not f*** up (before tabling pocket aces twice when they did fold), to Nicholas Rampone dwindling down to below a small blind and surviving.

In the end, though, it would be Mateusz Moolhuizen who would receive the unwanted title of bubble boy. In a massive hand against Schemion, the two made it to the river before Moolhuizen checked his option on the {a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades} board. Schemion then moved all in for just short of a million in chips putting Moolhuizen to the ultimate decision. Over five minutes passed before Moolhuizen made the call, only to muck his {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} face up and storm out the room when Schemion rolled over the {5-Spades}{8-Clubs} for the straight.

There was one hour to go after the bubble burst and the money eliminations began to pile up as 16 players would all receive something for their effort. Among those to bust were Sylvain Loosli, Nicolas Chouity, Maxim Lykov, and defending EPT Prague High Roller champion Ivan Shoshnikov.

The third and final day will begin at 12 p.m. local time on Wednesday, and the PokerNews Live Reporting team will be on hand to capture the all the play from start to finish. Be sure to tune in then for the exciting conclusion to this event, but also be sure to check out the coverage of the EPT Prague Main Event that will crown a champion tomorrow as well.
