Team Williams Cracks Kings

Blinds: 200/400

Action was three ways after a preflop raise to 2,700 and the board read {10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

A player in the small blind bet 3,000 and the late position player folded before Terry Williams tossed in the chips to see a turn.

The turn was {5-Diamonds} and the small blind shoved for 3,000 more, which Williams called quickly. Williams turned over {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a flopped set of tens and his opponent had {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}. The river {4-Diamonds} was no help for the at-risk player and Williams secured the elimination.

Greg Larson

Blinds: 100/200

A player in middle position raised to 6,000 before Amy Longmore called from late position and Greg Larson came along from the big blind.

The flop was {j-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Larson checked before the player in middle position bet 1,100. Longmore got out of the way and Larson called to see {4-Diamonds} on the river.

Larson check-called a bet of 2,300 on the turn and then he fired 2,500 when {k-Clubs} dropped on the river.

His opponent leaned back and thought it over before he tossed out the chips to call. Larson turned over {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for the flush and his opponent mucked what sounded like the {a-}{k-Diamonds}.

Longmore Takes With a Better Pair

Blinds: 100/200

Longhorn eventually flicked in the chips to call and her opponent turned over {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for a pair of eights, but she showed {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} to take the pot with a pair of nines.
