There's $2 million guaranteed today as the high rollers sit down for a poker battle. H-16: $25,500 Super High Rollers is set to get underway at 15:05 eastern time for one of the highest stakes games of the festival.
Players start with 100K in chips, and can fire as many bullets as they like during the first five hours of late registration. Action proceeds through the day at 15 minute levels, and they'll play until a winner is decided today.
There are already a few familiar faces waiting for action. GGPoker ambassador Fedor Holz is already in the game, as is Rainer Kempe, Wiktor Malinowski, Rui Ferreira, Darren Elias, and Adrian Mateos among others.
The last time GGPoker ran the $25,500 Super High Roller was during Super MILLION$ Week. A total of 127 entries showed up for the $1.5M guaranteed game, putting more than $3 million into the middle in prizes. Scottish phenom Ludovic "Gr4vyB04t" Geilich took down the win for $635,080 after cutting a deal heads up with Bert "girafganger7" Stevens. Stevens actually won the most money from that one, as he had slightly more chips when the deal was cut, but Geilich took down the trophy.
Action gets underway at 15:05 eastern time, and PokerNews will be on the virtual floor all day to bring you all the action. Stay tuned here to find out who takes home the trophy and the winner's share of $2 million guaranteed.
