Kennedy's Role Reversal
Earlier in the day, Mike Kennedy was walking away from his seat thinking he was eliminated, or at least about to be. Now he is among the chip leaders.
Mike Kennedy got in a three-way all in with Kwynn Richards and Gerald Will and thought his was never going to keep him in the tournament. Richards had , for a better flush draw and Will had a set of eights.
The flop was an eight with two spades and the three players got all their chips in. Kennedy was the one behind and at risk, but a on the river gave him a pair, when both his and Richards' flush draws didn't get there.
Fast forward to a few levels later, Kennedy is still in and cruising pretty well and now he's busted Will.
The two got all in preflop and Kennedy had aces, while Will had queens. The board was no help to Will and he hit the rail. Kennedy stacked the pot and is sitting among the bigger stacks at this stage of the tournament.
