Bradley Yazici Eliminated in 7th Place ($46,814)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Bradley Yazici
Bradley Yazici

Robbie Bakker opened for 110,000 and it was folded to Bradley Yazici who raised to 280,000. Everyone got out of the way and Bakker moved all in. Yazici quickly called with {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} but found out just as fast that he was way behind as Bakker had {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}.

The flop came {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} which changed nothing. The {7-Diamonds} on the turn, however, would give Yazici a flush draw. The river was a safe {7-Spades} for Bakker who said "it's never easy" as Yazici was eliminated in 7th place. Yazici will take home $46,814, more than double what he won when he took down the Grantville, PA HPO event.

Damian Salas Eliminated in 8th Place ($39,012)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Damian Salas
Damian Salas

Damian Salas got even shorter after having to fold both his small and big blind to raises from Simon Deadman and Michael Wang.

It was then Wang who raised to 105,000 once again and Salas moved all in for 265,000 chips. One seat over, Elliott Zaydman moved all in over the top for 950,000 and all other opponents mucked their cards.

Salas: {A-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Zaydman: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{Q-Spades} flop provided some chop outs for Salas and so did the {6-Spades} turn.

However, the {A-Clubs} river was of no help for the Argentinian and he was sent to the rail in 8th place for $39,012.

Yazici Doubles AGAIN

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Bradley Yazici was all in and at risk again, this time with {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} against Damian Salas and his {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. It was a relatively painless run out for the Grantville, PA HPO Regional Champion as it came {Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. A player at the table joked that he was going to come back and win it all. The usually reserved and silent Yazici smiled and said "what would be wrong with that?" Yazici is up to 1.425 million after the hand while Salas is riding the short stack now with 350,000.

Deadman Cannot beat Bakker

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Simon Deadman raised to 100,000 from early position and Robbie Bakker defended his big blind. Bakker check-called 100,000 on the {2-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop and they then checked the {3-Diamonds} turn. On the {Q-Spades} river, Bakker bet 240,000 and Deadman reluctantly called. Bakker showed {A-Spades}{10-Spades} and that won the pot.

Bradley Yazici Doubles Through Martin Godsk

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Martin Godsk opened for 100,000 and Bradley Yazici moved all in for 300,000 total. It was folded back to Godsk, who shrugged and made the call. Yazici turned over {3-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Godsk said "oooh, race" as he turned over {6-Spades}{5-Spades}.

The flop came {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{3-Diamonds} to give Yazici a full house and Godsk was drawing dead after the {8-Clubs} on the turn. The river was the {Q-Diamonds} and Yazici moved to 700,000 in chips, surviving an all in for at least the fourth time today.

Godsk takes from Wang

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Martin Godsk raised to 100,000 and Michael Wang three-bet to 230,000. Godsk made the call and they both saw the {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop. Godsk check-called 180,000 and Wang fired again for 340,000 after the {5-Spades} turn.

The board was completed with the {6-Diamonds} and this time Wang check-behind to muck when shown {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

The Jacks of Godsk are good

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

First Kitty Kuo raised to 80,000 and Martin Godsk called out of the big blind to check-fold the {3-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{4-Spades} flop when Kuo continued for 75,000.

One hand later, Elliott Zaydman raised to 125,000 from the button and Godsk three-bet to 310,000 one seat over in the small blind. The big blind folded and Zaydman reluctantly called. After the {6-Clubs}{7-Spades}{K-Hearts} flop, Godsk bet 235,000 and Zaydman took more than one minute to make the call while pushing the chips forward with shaky hands.

The {6-Hearts} turn was checked through and Godsk then bet 240,000 after the {7-Hearts} river completed the board. Zaydman stared at the board, back at his opponent and once again towards the middle of the table.

Godsk had his focus on the board the whole time and tabled {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} after his opponent made the call. Zaydman mucked his cards and lost half of his stack. In a few minutes another break takes place and the up-to-date chip counts will be available.
