Welcome to Day 2 of the Kings of Tallinn 1,100 Main Event at Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Park Hotel located in the heart of the Estonian capital.

Players traveled from near and far to play in the Main Event with 522 entrants joining the field on Day 1a and another 69 on the turbo Day 1b to bring the total field up to 591 entrants.

This is already 216 more than the record of 375 entrants established during last year's Kings of Tallinn Main Event. The record will be further extended with late-registration allowed until the conclusion of the first blind level of Day 2.

In addition, this means that the 500,000 guarantee was absolutely decimated. The final prize pool will be announced early on Day 2.

A total of 310 players survived yesterday's action with Italy's Renato Messina leading the way to start the day with a huge stack of 224,200 in chips. Behind him are Finland's Sargon Esfendiyari (195,900) and the Estonian duo of Urmo Velvelt (173,300) and Robert Kallikorm (172,000), and Lithuania's Daniel Belov (166,600).

Day 2 of the Main Event will kick off at 12 p.m. local time with blinds at 500/1,000 and an ante of 1,000. As was the case yesterday, today will feature eight hour-long blind levels with 15-minute breaks scheduled after every two blind levels.
